I have many years of experience in representing people who have been injured in some way, whether through damage to their health, property, financial situation, or reputation. If you have been wrongfully deprived of a right, health, property, or even your good reputation, I can help. Even if your opponent is a huge entity - the government, a major corporation, or an insurance company, I can level the playing field.
I received my law degree from Drake University Law School in 1990, where I was a member of Law Review. I began my legal career as a Prosecutor, and transferred into private practice in 1993. I am admitted to practice before every court in Iowa, as well as the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Martindale-Hubbell is an organization which attempts to rate attorney's legal abilities through the use of a peer review process. An "AV" rating is the highest rating possible, which Martindale-Hubbell describes as "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence." I have been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell with an "AV" rating.
I always try to do my very best for every client in every case, and I not only work hard to obtain results, but I also work hard to be accessible to my clients and keep them informed. I would be happy to meet with you to discuss your case and my qualifications. My office is easy to find and parking is free. I will make myself available for weekend appointments when necessary and if your mobility is limited I will travel to your location.
